Day 1 Transfer Airport - City Tour.

We are waiting for you at the airport and take you to your accommodation.

After you have refreshed your self we take from the hotel into the city of Arica where we visit the Cathedral of San Marcos and the former customs building “La Aduana” which contains the house of arts now. Both were designed by the French architect, Gustaf Eiffel. The ex scorpion isle,  Morro and the beaches of Laucho, Lisera and Black sand show us the outskirts of the city.

El agro is our agricultural centre and in the Azapa valley we show you the wall drawings of hills Sombrero and Tropilla. The archeological museum San Miguel de Azapa shows us among pre Inca artifacts a collection of well preserved mummies which are about 10.000 years old. We return to your hotel.

Day 2.  Arica - Socoroma -  Putre.

After the pick up from your hostel we leave for the local market el Agro and make a visit to Azapa valley to see the world's oldest mummy at the Azapa museum. Geo glyphs, fertile soils in the valley Lluta, the village of Poconchile, chandelier cactuses Pukara de Copaquilla show them selves on our zig zag road into the Altiplano. We enjoy lunch at Zapahuira, visit Socoroma and in the afternoon reach our destination Putre.

Day 3. Putre - National Park Lauca - Arica.

On our way to Park Lauca a small walk at the caves, observing the flora and fauna, the views from Chucuyo and Lake Cotacotani decorate our Altiplano experience. Visiting the village of Parinacota is another Altiplano delight and next; at 4500 meters we get to Lake Chungara which is the highlight of Park Lauca. After close looks at the birdlife and lunch has been digested a relaxing dip at the hot springs of Jurasi bring us on our way back to Putre where we arrive in the late afternoon.
 
Day 4.  Putre - Desert Surire - National Park Isluga  - Colchane.
 
In the morning we leave Putre to go to the National reserve Vicunas and before we get to the Salt Lake at 4.200 meters at mid day, we visit the picturesque village of Guallatire. During this trip we make various photo stops to enjoy the scenery and make some small hikes. In the early afternoon we visit the hot springs of Polloquere and enter the National Park Isluga where we visit Lake Aravilla and stop at the Altiplano villages of Enquelga and Isluga. Before night fall we reach Colchane where we spend the night.
 
Day 5.  Colchane - Iquique o Arica.
 
In the morning we visit the villages of Mauque, Chusmiza, the giant of the Atacama, lunch in Huara. We visit Humberstone and finish our trip in Iquique o Arica.
